Back in 2022, we were drowning in spreadsheets. Three of us ran mid-sized operations across Perth and Mandurah — and honestly, the bottleneck wasn't strategy. It was the admin mess.

Chase approvals. Redo reports. Hunt down receipts. We spent more time wrestling with workflows than actually growing our businesses. So we started sketching out something different — something that would actually fit how finance teams work in reality, not in theory.

Started Small, Stayed Practical

Our first version wasn't fancy. It just connected our accounting software to our approval chains so invoices stopped sitting in someone's inbox for a week. Once that worked, we added expense tracking. Then reporting. Each piece solved a real problem we were actually having.

Tested on Ourselves First

Every feature went through our own finance operations before we showed it to anyone else. If it saved us hours, we kept it. If it added clicks without adding value, we scrapped it. That ruthless practicality is still how we build today.
